Our Guarantee

At OfficeGiant, we stand behind every compatible and remanufactured cartridge we sell.

If a cartridge develops a fault during its normal working life, we will replace it free of charge. If we cannot fix the problem, you can choose a credit or a refund.

To arrange this, we will need proof of the issue and the cartridge batch code. In some cases, we may ask for the cartridge to be returned so it can be checked.

Print quality and page yield

Used and stored in the right way, our cartridges are made to deliver sharp, professional prints and reach the page yield we advertise.

Page yields are based on standard industry testing at around 5% page coverage. Heavy graphics, solid blocks of colour, and photos will use more ink or toner, so the cartridge may not last as long. This is normal and not a fault.

Your printer is protected

Our cartridges are safe for your printer and will not cause damage or cancel the manufacturer’s warranty.

If it can be proven that one of our cartridges has caused damage, we will cover the reasonable cost of putting it right. This can include parts, labour, or if needed, replacing the machine with a similar model. You will need to provide written evidence from an authorised service company along with invoices or receipts.

If required, we may send an independent engineer to inspect the printer. If the cartridge is at fault, we will pay those costs.

What is not covered

We cannot cover problems caused by:

  • Accidents or misuse
  • Incorrect storage
  • Taking the cartridge or printer apart
  • Unapproved repairs or changes
  • Natural events outside anyone’s control
  • Other brands of consumables or worn parts not supplied by us

If an engineer finds that something not supplied by OfficeGiant caused the issue, any related costs would need to be paid by the customer.

A few extra points

This promise applies only to our compatible and remanufactured products. Original brand cartridges are covered by their own manufacturer.

Our guarantee also depends on manufacturer expiry dates and printer firmware updates, which are outside our control.

If a printer needs replacing, we will match it to a similar model and consider its age, usage, and duty cycle. Proof of purchase will be required.
