Toner leaks are often caused by a seal that is not fixed securely to the cartridge. In some cases, the magnetic roller felt or sponge sealing strip may be damaged or faulty, allowing toner to escape.

If you notice toner leaking, stop using the printer straight away and contact your customer service representative. Continuing to print can cause internal damage and worsen the problem.
